Terms of service.

 

We advise all our clients to read through the clinic terms and conditions before making a booking. These are put in place to safeguard the clinic and to ensure the maximum standards and service are offered to the client. In booking an appointment you are agreeing to the clinic terms and conditions stated below.

Appointments

Appointments can be made by text, email, phone or via the website contact page. Your appointment time is reserved specifically for you. Please note you cannot be seen any earlier than your allotted time and there is no waiting area currently at the clinic. There is ample parking on the road next to the clinic with no parking restrictions in place. You will receive an appointment reminder 48 hours before your scheduled appointment time via text message. The Clinic aims to accommodate as many people as possible to access our services and provide consultations/appointments as quickly as possible to our existing and new patients. If you can’t make your appointment time for any reason please give us as much notice as possible.

Treatment Plan

The full cost of your treatment plan will be discussed during your aesthetic consultation. No treatments can be booked without an aesthetic consultation first. Aesthetic consultations can be done virtually (Video Call) or in person. The cost of your aesthetic consultation is redeemable against a confirmed treatment plan. A complimentary post-treatment consultation is included in all treatment plans.

Late Arrivals

Unforeseen circumstances can lead to delays, I am sympathetic to this. Please try and contact me if you know you are going to be delayed (if safe to do so). Any arrivals 15 minutes later than your booked appointment time may need to be rescheduled.

Cancellation and Failing to attend your appointment.

If for any reason you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment please give a minimum of 24 hours notice. Short-term cancellations apply to any appointments cancelled within 24 hours of your appointment time and may carry a fee of either the consultation fee (£35) or a set charge of £50 if cancelling within the 24 hour period. Our aesthetic clinic diary is very full and treatment slots are high in demand.

Complaints

We always welcome feedback from our customers and, whilst we always use all reasonable endeavours to ensure that your experience as a customer of ours is a positive one, we nevertheless want to hear from you if you have any cause for complaint. Consent Form

Prior to the commencement of any treatment, you are required to sign a Consent Form. Upon signing your consent, you are confirming that you understand the benefits and risks of your treatment. In addition, you are also acknowledging that no guarantee can be given with regard to clinical outcomes.

You also agree that Élan Aesthetics or designated representatives or the practice may take and use pre-treatment and post-treatment photographs of my person for confidential clinical record purposes and that such photographs shall remain the property of Élan Aesthetics including Dr. Jaco van der Merwe.

We will always assess whether treatment is suitable for you, or likely to be successful, prior to any treatment being carried out. If not, we will inform you as to the reasons why. We will provide a “top-up” following 14 days of anti-wrinkle treatment at no further cost to the client, at the discretion of the practitioner, and subject to review. This will only apply to the area treated during the original visit.

All of our treatments are not eligible for a refund.

Liability

Élan Aesthetics will not be liable in contract, tort, or otherwise for any economic loss (including, without limitation, loss of profit), or for any other special, indirect or consequential loss or damage arising out of, or in connection with, its provision of any goods and/or services to the client.

Children are not allowed into laser-controlled areas and Élan Aesthetics is unable to supervise children left unattended. Please do not bring children under the age of 10 unless a responsible adult is accompanying you and can look after them whilst you are being treated.

It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that he or she provides the designated practitioner with all relevant medical details prior to each treatment. Élan Aesthetics will not be liable for any damage that occurs as a result of the client’s failure to disclose such details.

The client agrees to comply with all instructions and/or recommendations given to them by Élan Aesthetics regarding the care of a treated area. Nothing in these terms of business shall exclude or limit Élan Aesthetics liability for death or any personal injury resulting from Élan Aesthetics negligence.

PRIVACY POLICY & GDPR

How will we use the information you give us?
We will only use your information on the basis that it is necessary to administer your bookings or inquiries or help you with further assistance. Where we need to pass information to other hospitality members, it will only be for that purpose.

When or if we contact you, it will either be for the above reason or because we have a legitimate interest in marketing-related products. For any other marketing, it will only be with your consent and you will be able to withdraw your consent or unsubscribe easily at any time.

If we have to transfer information to a country outside the EU, we will only do so if a similar level of protection applies. If we need to obtain information that is nature sensitive, we will only do so on the basis that it is in the public interest – for example, to fight crime, prevent fraud, or to make sure insurance is available.

When visiting our website,  www.elanaesthetics.co.uk,  we will collect only the domain name, but not your email address. The information we collect is used for internal review and is then discarded, used to improve the content of our web page, used to customise the content and/or layout of our page for each individual consumer, and is not shared with other organisations for commercial purposes.

What type of personal information do we need?

  • We may need personal details which might include details of your address, means of transport, contact telephone numbers, and email address.

  • We will only collect what is necessary and will only keep it for as long as we are required to do in line with our data retention policy.

What other types of information do we need?

  • We will only collect what is necessary and protect it with appropriate security measures.

  • We may gather it from the information you submit to this website, by telephone, face to face, or by email.

What are my legal rights?
